Eggstravaganza is a family-friendly event at The Zoo in Forest Park. Taking place the Saturday before Easter, this event features a Bunny Trail around The Zoo with goodies for the kids, a visit from the Easter Bunny, face painting, crafts and of course - animal encounters.

Eggstravaganza is not an egg hunt or an egg roll, this event is set up trick-or-treat style ensuring all kids - no matter their age or size - leaves with the same number of goodies.

Tickets for Eggstravaganza 2027 will go on sale in February.

2026 ticket prices

General Public:

  • Adult: $13 + $0.78 processing fee
  • Child: $8 + $0.48 processing fee
  • Senior: $9 + $0.54 processing fee


Zoo Members:

  • Adult: $9 + $0.54 processing fee
  • Child: $5 + $0.30 processing fee
  • Senior: $7 + $0.42 processing fee

THE GREAT EGG SCAVENGER HUNT

For those attending the event, there are 5 paper Easter eggs hidden in enclosures around The Zoo. An egg on an animal's sign means there is an egg hidden somewhere in that enclosure. Submit photos of at least 3 of these eggs in enclosures and be entered in a chance to win a family membership to The Zoo or if you're already a member, a Zoo swag bag! One random winner will be selected and contacted via email on April 10. Good luck!
